Farmhouse holidays in Transylvania Romania
Experience the inviting ambiance of Casa Lopo, a haven that envelops you in warmth from every angle. Opt for a family-friendly rural escape at this charming holiday farm, where the allure of days gone by takes precedence over the sterile surroundings of a luxurious 5-star hotel pool.
We've meticulously transformed the farm, dedicating ourselves to reviving countless details that had long slumbered in the embrace of time. Our mission was to safeguard the authentic historic charm while ensuring a level of comfort one would anticipate, even in a timeworn Romanian cottage nestled in the countryside.
According to our delighted past visitors, we have successfully achieved this delicate balance. Discover the holiday abode, featuring an enclosed courtyard adorned with a plastered 3-room log cabin, a barn complemented by a rear garden, a welcoming terrace, and a charming annex complete with a double bed—an ideal retreat for independent teens seeking a bit of separation from their parents.
Access to the house is through the outer hallway, leading to the kitchen nestled between two rooms. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped for self-catering adventures, boasting a gas stove, refrigerator, water cooker, toaster, coffee and espresso machine, as well as an ample supply of dishes, spices, detergents, soaps, and other essentials. To brighten up the space, we introduced a ceiling window in the kitchen, and inspired by the enhanced illumination, replicated the concept in the smaller bedroom.
The spacious room, featuring a double bed and corner bench, boasts four windows and connects seamlessly to the bathroom with a washing machine, accessible from the hallway. Stay connected with a swift internet connection via WiFi.
During the winter months, you have the option of warming up the space with a gas heater or kindling the tiled stove, which not only provides a cosy ambiance but also efficiently distributes heat to all the radiators in the house through the integrated water pipes.
Certainly, our array of optional services extends to this space as well, encompassing offerings such as breakfast, traditional menus, or locally-sourced farm products from the village. Your convenience is paramount, with the inclusive transfer service from Sibiu railway station or airport. Additionally, upon request, you can avail yourself of our rental cars, request a cot for your baby, or secure a high chair for your little one.
While we're not quite done with the renovation process, rest assured that we are continuously working towards perfection. Plans include installing new tiles for the main roof and giving the terrace a more welcoming facelift. As time permits, we remain committed to attending to various details. In the interim, we will ensure that you stay updated with the latest images of our ongoing improvements.
